Pediatric Orthopedics is designed to provide the podiatric medical student with a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of normal and abnormal lower extremity conditions and pediatric gait patterns. This course includes lectures on child development, normal pediatric growth, ontogeny, common pediatric foot and ankle deformities, pediatric arthritides, congenital abnormalities, pediatric radiographs, and common pediatric gait problems.
