And They're Off...

This morning, Friday, August 6th, I woke up bright and early to head to work, (6:00 AM to be exact) and oversee that Midwestern University's Downers Grove Campus set-up for the annual St. Jude Run to Peoria was going as planned.

And it was. The majority of runners had all arrived by 7:30 and the kick-off celebration was just underway.

Barb Wysocki, Director of Development & Alumni Relations welcomed the St. Jude runners to campus and wished everyone luck as they geared up for the 130 mile run to Peoria, Illinois. A run which would last them 30 hours. Whew!
