Is that My Favorite Piece of Equipment in Wellness/Recreation Hall?

Posted June 08, 2010

Anyone that knows me know that I love working out. And I love taking advantage of the fact that there is a gym and workout equipment at my place of employment, thus I work out most days during lunch.

But today, when I stepped into the workout room, I saw the love of my life in workout equipment. The StairMill. The StairMill is the nuisance of a machine that the user must climbing the stairs of the machine as it descends and drops rotating in a circular motion. The university purchased two and I've been so excited for my workouts.

When set at the "Fat Burner" setting, you literally are blasting 100-120 calories per ten minutes. It is probably the most effective machine to help tone and blast the fat from your waist down. A good hour on this machine several years ago, helped me lose 20 pounds. I've always craved for Midwestern University to order this machine and I've become a bit territorial over the machine.

Many of the students that work out during the same time as me, watch me oddly as I wait for my turn for the machine to be available. It bring a smile to my face now just thinking about it. I must give my machine a name.

What do you think is a good name for my machine?
