
I had CPR training today. I held the certificate previously from 2007-2009 and failed to get recertified last year. It was very important for me to keep my certificate in CPR because in my professional world and even my personal life, I am around people all the time. And as a child of a parent that lived in the hospital setting all of their own teenage years, I've respected the role of CPR in maintenace of survival in people.
Now, I've never had to perform CPR on anyone, but if I had to I would not hesitate to do so.
The CPR Training was provided by Human Resources and had an overwhelming
response to the number of interested faculty and staff that they provided three sessions. Faculty and staff also received training in the AED machine, as well
