Last weekend, CCOM hosted the annual Clinical Refresher Course with the OSTEE Award presentation and the Class Reunion Weekend. Many alumni gathered in Downers Grove to celebrate their alma mater and honor their colleagues.

The OSTEE Award for the outstanding alumni educator was presented this year to Steven Roskam, D.O. Dr. Roskam is a former residency program director and longtime faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine. His family, colleagues, and friends joined with the University and College leadership and fellow alumni for the award presentation in Hyde Atrium.

The CCOM class reunions were held at the Westin Lombard on Friday evening. Approximately 100 alumni, student leaders, and college representatives filled the ballroom with happy greetings and fond memories. The Class of 1986 was by far the loudest and largest contingent, celebrating their 25th reunion. Members of the Class of 1961 were inducted in the Gold Medallion Club, honoring their 50-year anniversary.

The entire weekend was a great success, with a strong CME program, a wonderful OSTEE award evening, and a festive celebration of the class reunions. Several current CCOM students were invited to the reunions, and were seen showing off their moves on the dance floor. Thanks to all who helped to plan and coordinate this wonderful gathering of alumni. Let's do it again next year!
