MWU Health Professions Career Day

Posted October 16, 2006

This weekend, the Offices of Admissions at both of campuses hosted Health Professions Career Days for prospective students. I was in Downers Grove for the weekend, so I was able to greet the 200 visitors and tell them a little about our university and its history. The students were then able to learn about Financial Aid and Student Services, as well as talk with our faculty and current students. We then took people on tours of campus. It was cold in Chicago, but the sun was out. I'm sure it was 80 degrees and beautiful in Phoenix! Many students brought their parents, and a few pre-health advisors from other colleges also attended. We host similar fairs at each campus in the spring, and it is really a great opportunity to see our campus, meet our faculty and students, and learn more about our campus culture and academic environment. It's a great investment of your time to attend. Plus, we provide refreshments and some programs even had Halloween candy out! To make sure you know about our future programs, take a minute to create an InteractNow! account on our web site, www.midwestern.edu. You can build a personal profile, have one-on-one conversations with an admissions counselor, and track your application status. If you choose to receive emails, we'll send you reminders about campus events. If you don't want to receive emails, you won't. InteractNow! it a great way to stay in touch and to learn more about our people and programs. Let us know how it's working for you.
