The AOTA is a national professional organization representing over 40,000 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and occupational therapy students throughout the United States. Students are eligible to join AOTA.

American Occupational Therapy Foundation
Supports research and education to advance the field of occupational therapy; sponsors workshops, provides networking, and offers grants and fellowships.

American Student Committee of the Occupational Therapy Association
The American Student Committee of the Occupational Therapy Association provides a mechanism for the expression of student concerns and offers a means whereby students can have effective input into the affairs of AOTA.

National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
