American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) is the only national organization that represents physician assistants in all specialties and all employment settings. Its membership also includes physician assistant students and supporters of the profession.

 National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC)
The NGC is a public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

National Library of Medicine (NLM) Gateway
The gateway provides a single interface that searches in multiple retrieval systems. It is targeted to the Internet user who comes to NLM not knowing exactly what is available or how best to search for it. It is also a useful tool for those who wish to perform a comprehensive search on a subject.

Physician Assistant History Center (PAHx)
The PAHx Center is dedicated to the study of the history and legacy of the physician assistant profession through the collection and identification of appropriate papers, manuscripts, magazine and newspaper clippings, newsletters, references, reports, dissertations, oral histories, biographies, films, slides, videos, photographs, artifacts, memorabilia and digital images. The Center originated from the PA History Office established in 2001 within the Department of Community and Family Medicine, Duke University Medical Center and the Society for the Preservation of Physician Assistant History incorporated in 2002 to assume primary responsibility for the Center’s activities.


 Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (SEMPA)
SEMPA has been established on campus to enhance and explore the role of the Physician Assistant in the field of emergency medicine. Activities include, but are not limited to, guest lectures, introduction to advanced life support, and orientation to various aspects in the field of emergency medicine.

Student Academy/AAPA (SAAAPA)
The Student Academy provides additional information for Student Physician Assistants, such as leadership, student societies, awards and resources.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)
The AHRQ's mission is to imrove the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of heath care for all Americans. As 1 of 12 agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services, AHRQ supports research that helps people make more informed decisions and improves the quality of health care services.
