AZ: AZPod Student Receives $5,000 Kaiser Permanente Scholarship

Michael Downey, a third-year student at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University's Glendale Campus, was one of eight students nationwide selected from a pool of thousands of applicants to receive a $5,000 Kaiser Permanente student scholarship. Recipients were selected for their achievements in community leadership and population-based research. In addition to the $5,000 scholarship, Michael will join a Northern California Kaiser facility for a one-month elective.
