Clinical Psychology in Glendale
Learning how to integrate psychology services into primary care settings is just one skill you will develop as a student in the Clinical Psychology Program. You will gain experience in a variety of services areas and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to achieve competency in relationship and professional assessment, intervention, research and evaluation, consultation and education, management and supervision, ethics, and diversity.
Graduates of the Clinical Psychology Program will be able to practice in hospital, primary care, outpatient or inpatient, public or private, and forensic settings, serving populations of all ages: children, adolescents, adults, and elderly persons.
The curriculum incorporates didactic courses, practical experiences, internship, and a practitioner-scholar project. The doctor of psychology degree (Psy.D.) is awarded after four or five years of study and completion of all requirements.
