Direct Loan Transition for the 2010-2011 academic year

Midwestern University remains committed to providing all eligible students with the most stable financial aid funding. Due to the Congressional mandate that will change the nation's student loan delivery system, the University is switching its participation from the Federal Family Education Loan Program to the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program for the 2010-11 academic year. In the Federal Direct Loan Program, loan proceeds are provided directly from the federal government to the University on behalf of the borrower. As a result of this transition you will need to sign a new Master Promissory Note (MPN) with the Federal Direct Loan Program.
