Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine
The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine are accredited by the Commision on College Accreditation American Osteopathic Association (AOA). College of Dental Medicine
The Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree program is the newest addition to Midwestern University’s interdisciplinary health care programs of study. This program in dental education is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has been granted the accreditation status of “initial accreditation.” Based at MWU’s Glendale (Ariz.) Campus, the College of Dental Medicine offers a four-year curriculum that includes academic coursework in the basic sciences, the behavioral sciences, and the clinical sciences; preclinical simulation studies; practical clinical dentistry; and community clinical rotations that follow the guidelines of the American Dental Association and the Commission on Dental Education. Upon completion of the program, student doctors will be eligible for licensing in the State of Arizona and the Southwestern United States through the Western Region Board Examination, and throughout the country upon passing other regional board examinations.

Physician Assistant Program
The Physician Assistant Programs on both the Downers Grove and Glendale campuses are accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation, by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, or by its successor agency, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.

Physical Therapy Program
The Physical Therapy Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 N. Fairfax St., Alexandria, VA 22314.

Occupational Therapy Program
The Occupational Therapy Programs on both the Downers Grove and Glendale campuses are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 4720 Montgomery Lane, P.O. Cardiovascular Science/Perfusion Program
The Cardiovascular Science Program has applied for initial accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Clinical Psychology Program
Since MWU’s Clinical Psychology Program is relatively new, it is not accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The Program will apply for accreditation from the APA as soon as it is eligible.
