The faculty are committed to curriculum innovation

- move portions of the curriculum to prerequisite requirements
- integrate foundation knowledge from prerequisite courses
into clinical science courses
- develop the curriculum based on interdisciplinary thematic
units
- initiate early clinical involvement of students
- investigate decompression of the curriculum
- investigate distance learning for applicable areas
- investigate development of consortium for sharing implementation
of portions of curriculum
- develop modalities for students to learn core knowledge by
taking advantage of new technology
- develop modalities to take advantage of innovative teaching
