    Ocular Prosthetics & Contact Lens Special Topics Workshop

    This workshop emphasizes the hands–on aspect of understanding and becoming proficient with the more specialized designs of contact lenses and ocular prosthetic devices and techniques. The areas covered will include the techniques for fitting and handling of astigmatism (toric) gas permeable contact lenses, gas permeable multifocal (bifocal) contact lenses, orthokeratology/corneal reshaping contact lenses, hybrid contact lenses, large diameter/mini scleral contact lenses and the fitting, fabrication and modification of ocular prosthetic contact lenses, shell eyes and reform eyes.
