MWU/OPTI: An Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution

Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine

The MWU/OPTI in Glendale, Arizona is affiliated with the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) and its training hospitals and outpatient clinics.  The MWU/OPTI Glendale provides opportunities for osteopathic medical school graduates and students to receive outstanding clinical training in an academic residency setting in both urban and rural environments.  This training is delivered to residents and students by utilizing the MWU/OPTI, AZCOM, and the base institution's faculties to provide clinical instruction, didactics, simulation, and research training in conjunction with faculty development programs under direct supervision in an outcome-based setting.  The MWU/OPTI Glendale is one of the fastest growing postdoctoral programs in osteopathic medicine and along with the  MWU/OPTI Downers Grove, Illinois- based internship and residency fellowship programs, provides training in almost all specialties and subspecialties.  Programs follow the guidelines of, and receive accreditation from, the Bureau of Education of the American Osteopathic Association.
