It is the policy of the CCOM CME program to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its educational programs. Individual activities are developed independently of educational grant support. In accordance with the standards of the AOA and ISMS, commercial support of this meeting has had no influence over topics or speakers. Commercial support will be listed in the conference program materials. Faculty disclosures and any references to unlabeled or unapproved uses of drugs or devices will be made in the course syllabus and during faculty introductions.
The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM) of Midwestern University is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to present continuing medical education programs for physicians. CCOM designates this program for 21.5 credits in category 1A of the AOA pending approval and 21.5 credits in category 1 of the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) through St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
