Interested high school students and their parents, counselors, and faculty who would like to learn more about careers in pharmacy are invited to attend the February 13th Open House for the Career Explorers Program on the Downers Grove Campus.
Students completing their junior and senior high school year may apply to participate in an intensive four-week summer program. This program consist of organized, hands-on activities various Walgreens or Jewel/Osco pharmacies and take a short course in pharmacy-related topics on the campus of Midwestern University. This program is designed to prepare students to explore various career opportunities in community pharmacy, link students to mentors who will provide career counseling in this health professional field, and provide information and guidance to prepare students for pharmacy education.
