IL: Area Children Invited to a Day of Winter Fun at Midwestern University

The entire community is invited to Midwestern University to participate in the MWU Snow Day, a free day of winter fun for children on Monday, January 21st from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The event is intended for children who have the day off from school in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday and will be held on the Midwestern University campus, located at 555 31st Street in Downers Grove. Admission is free, however, participants are asked to bring a canned good item for donation to a local food pantry.

At the Snow Day, children and their families can participate in games and activities including a snowball target toss, carnival games, "Save the Yeti" obstacle course, and other winter-themed fun!  In addition to the games and activities, the University also plans to provide information about healthy living and healthy initiatives to help children make healthy choices throughout the new year.

The event is being sponsored by the College of Dental Medicine-Illinois Student Council. As an institution specializing in the health sciences, Midwestern University educates students to be osteopathic physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, biomedical scientists, clinical psychologists, and dentists.
