Midwestern University's Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology is currently under review by the American Psychological Association (APA) Commission on Accreditation (CoA)*. The program became eligible to apply in September, 2010 when the first cohort of students began internship. The application was a self-study, which underwent a preliminary review by APA staff, and the program was then approved for a site visit in the spring. The site visit team visited the program on March 9 & 10, 2011, and it went very well. Their report was received April 26, and the program will send its response to APA by May 31. A decision could be made as early as the summer meeting in July. We are very excited to be taking part in this essential, quality-assurance program in professional psychology, and look forward to the review and decision by the CoA.*
