AZ: Midwestern University Names Assistant Dean of Arizona College of Optometry

Midwestern University is pleased to announce that Sunny M. Sanders, O.D., FAAO, has been appointed as the Assistant Dean of the Arizona College of Optometry.

Dr. Sanders comes to Midwestern University as an experienced educator and private practitioner. She previously served as an Associate Professor of Optometry and Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Sanders brings over a decade of clinical teaching experience in the specialty areas of ocular prosthetics and contact lenses to Midwestern University. She received her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1978.

Dr. Sanders will also instruct and practice as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Midwestern University Eye Institute, located at 19389 N. 59^thAvenue in Glendale. The state-of-the-art Eye Institute is one of the most comprehensive family eye care facilities in the State of Arizona and offers standard vision care at about half the cost of traditional optometric fees.
