AZ: MWU Clinic to Host Community Health Fair

Bring the family to the Midwestern University Clinic on Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for free health screenings, goodie bags, and a chance to win door prizes. The MWU Clinic is located at 19389 North 59th Avenue in Glendale, just south of the Loop 101, at the corner of 59th & Utopia. Free general health screenings at the fair will include:
• Blood pressure checks
• Scoliosis screenings
• Demonstrations to alleviate low-back pain, headaches, overuse injuries
• Visual acuity near and far screenings
• Color vision and depth perception screenings
• External ocular exams
• Medications Q & A
• Musculoskeletal ultrasounds
• Depression screenings
• Foot exams

In addition, special diabetes-related free services will include educational information, PAD-arterial doppler exams, diabetes sensory testing, ocular photos for diabetics, and diabetes risk assessment tests.
