Lisa Gouldsbrough, DO completed her Osteopathic medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1987. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital where she served as Chief Resident in 1991. She returned to Maine to practice and was named community chair of Pediatrics at UNECOM in 1992 and in 2000 was awarded a million dollar HRSA grant to establish an academic department of pediatrics at the college. She currently serves as the chairman of the Student Affairs Committee, and is an active member of the Curriculum Review Task Force.
Dr. Gouldsbrough's areas of interest include medical education and curriculum innovation, student assessment, and the clinical care of internationally adopted children. She serves as an AAP resource for international adoption in the State of Maine. Dr. Gouldsbrough resides in Biddeford Pool Maine with her partner and their four children, Ben age 15, Leah age 13 adopted from India, Luke age 9 and Jack age 8, both adopted from Vietnam.
