Dr. Brar is a graduate of Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (2003). He successfully completed his rotating internship and Family Medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Brar completed his doctoral work in the field of Biophysics from the Department of Biological Sciences at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Currently Dr. Brar is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Biochemistry at Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Brar is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has active hospital privileges at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, California. He also works at WU-COMP's Medical Center where he is involved in patient care.
Dr. Brar's other interests include protein chemistry, biophysics of natural products and the metabolism of bioactive alkaloids, all of which are the active focus of grant proposals.
