Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove
The combined Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine residency training program at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM) is approved by the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Following the OGME-1 year, the training consists of 24 months of training in internal medicine and 24 months of training in emergency medicine. This combined training program is designed to provide osteopathic residents with advanced and concentrated training in emergency medicine and internal medicine and prepares the resident for examination for certification in emergency medicine and internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Association.
