Speech-Language Pathology in Downers Grove
The Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University plans to matriculate its inaugural class in the Fall of 2013. Students will benefit from an enthusiastic faculty dedicated to the professional development of the next generation of speech-language pathologists, in addition to new academic and clinical facilities. Classrooms will incorporate latest technologies, including implementation of simulation software to augment training in clinical techniques. Students will complete initial practica in the new MWU Multispecialty Clinic in Downers Grove. This facility will feature state-of-the-art instrumentation, research laboraties, and clinical treatement facilities in one location to optimize student learning and client outcomes. Graduates of the MWU Speech-Language Pathology Program will be prepared to launch dynamic careers in their choice of healthcare or educational arenas.
The entire community is invited to Midwestern University to participate in a free Community Health Fair on Saturday, September 29th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NOON. The event will be held at the Midwestern University campus, located at 555 31st Street in Downers Grove. More ››
