In conjunction with the CDC guidance regarding community events and the COVID-19 virus, Midwestern University has elected to postpone the upcoming College of Veterinary Medicine Open House scheduled for March 28th until sometime this Fall.  Midwestern University appreciates your understanding and support as we take steps to protect our community’s health and safety.

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern's Glendale Campus will host an open house on  Saturday, March 28, 2020 from  10:00am to 2:00pm. Everyone from pet owners to ranchers to aspiring veterinarians is welcome to attend with their families to see the future of animal healthcare in Arizona. Expert faculty and veterinary students will be on hand to answer questions and showcase the College's veterinary clinics and facilities. Over 20 interactive booths and exhibits will be available for the public.

Attendees will be treated to facility tours of the state-of-the-art Companion Animal Clinic, Equine and Bovine Center, and Diagnostic Pathology Center. Families will be able to interact with animals, see a simulated cow birth, discover how pathology and forensics can help deter animal abuse and treat disease, and much more. Interested attendees can also learn about a career in veterinary medicine and opportunities available to veterinary graduates, such as maintaining a healthy food supply, researching and controlling infectious diseases, and advancing the science of animal health in connection with other healthcare disciplines.

  • Tours of the Companion Animal Clinic, Equine and Bovine Center, Diagnostic Pathology Center, and Mobile Clinics
