On Monday, March 21, more than 100 healthcare partners and Midwestern University friends arrived at the Arrowhead Country Club in Glendale, AZ for the annual Chippin’ in for Students Golf Classic. The event raised money to support the Spirit of Service scholarships and provided a day of sunshine and fun for golfers eager to get back on the links after two years of COVID-19 restrictions.

Spirit of Service Scholarships are awarded to Midwestern University students who show outstanding leadership abilities and a commitment to community service, based on their academic standing and financial need.

In addition to the sales of raffle tickets and special “bogey buster” kits, additional funds were raised at the Student for Hire hole, where golfers could pay talented MWU students to drive the ball for them.

Many thanks to our incredible sponsors, who make a difference in the lives of Midwestern University students in our 8 colleges and 23 graduate-level healthcare degree programs. Because of the generosity of all participating sponsors and players, the 2022 Chippin’ in for Students golf tournament was a massive success, helping deserving students get the financial support they need to pursue a career in healthcare.
