Morgan Korte, a third-year student at Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine, received a prestigious scholarship from the Isaac Knapp Dental Education Foundation. To be considered for this scholarship, students must exhibit academic excellence and have an affiliation with one of the 10 Indiana counties within the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society district.

The Isaac Knapp Dental Education Foundation was established in 1987 to promote educational programs, support research about dental care, and enhance dental hygiene in northeast Indiana. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $285,000 in grants to various children’s oral health and community outreach initiatives, free clinics, student scholarships, and continuing education programs.

The College of Dental Medicine-Illinois prepares students for successful careers in dental medicine. Upon the completion of a four-year intensive classroom and clinical training program, students earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
