Jeffrey Jensen, D.P.M., FACFAS
Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., President and CEO of Midwestern University, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Jensen, D.P.M., FACFAS, has been appointed as Program Director for the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine (AZPod) in the College of Health Sciences. Dr. Jensen will also serve as an Associate Dean in the College of Health Sciences.
Dr. Jensen comes to Midwestern University after seven years at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he served as Dean and Professor in addition to being Senior Director of Research at the Paul & Margaret Brand Research Center. Dr. Jensen also previously practiced as the owner and Medical Director of the Diabetic Foot & Wound Center; founder and Medical Director of MedEfficiency, Inc.; and Medical Director and Consultant for Derma Sciences/Integra. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. He holds 10 United States Patents relating to medical innovations addressing diabetic foot ulcer offloading, post-surgical care, fracture care, and antimicrobials. He received a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, in 1985 and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991.
