Medical students eating food from around the world

On April 1st, 2022, Midwestern University’s Glendale campus hosted the Nights Around the World event to celebrate MWU’s cultural diversity. Students came together with faculty, staff, and Dr. Kathleen H. Goeppinger, President and CEO, to enjoy a delicious dinner menu that sampled courses from the represented cultures.

The event included several booths from cultural student organizations, such as the South Asian Student Association, Persian Cultural Club, Muslim Student Association, and the Student National Medical Association. Additionally, a group of 2nd-year Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) students hosted the Hearts for Ukraine table, a fundraiser working to provide relief to the people of Ukraine.

More than 190 people attended this year’s event, which is held annually to celebrate the diversity of our campus community.
