Midwestern University's Glendale Campus hosted a day of activities for the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents (COSGP) winter meeting on Friday, January 17.

Midwestern was the host site for the second of four days of activities for the COSGP Executive Board and General Council. During the session held on the Glendale Campus, the COSGP bestowed several student awards, and among the honorees was Aubrey Ingram (AZCOM 2022)  from the University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Ms. Ingram was honored with the Positive Impact Award, recognizing a COSGP General Council member whose participation in the conference made a lasting positive impact on all members of the council. She was also among those who received the Collaborative Presentation Award, given to members of the COSGP Legislative Affairs Committee for providing novel presentation styles and content in their legislative action toolkit.

COSGP is AACOM's official national leadership council and is the only organization that represents all osteopathic medical students. COSGP is comprised of the student government/council presidents from each of the nation's osteopathic medical colleges and serves as the liaison between osteopathic professional organizations and all students.
