Medical Student, Class of 2024

Tell us about your path towards medicine.

Exceptionally non-traditional. For at least a decade, I have always wanted to see others improve their physical wellbeing. That interest naturally turned into a passion for the science and art of medicine. To improve my candidacy for professional school I completed the Master of Arts in Biomedical Science program at Midwestern. After exploring various opportunities, I took the MCAT, and now I am back as a proud and grateful AZCOM student.

What made you choose Midwestern University?

Midwestern University is a school of good repute, and it being located in the Phoenix-Metro area was simply a fortunate opportunity for myself. I was thoroughly impressed with just about every aspect of Midwestern while going through and finishing the Biomed program. The professors and administration sincerely want to see students succeed. I also am a proud Arizonan and Phoenician and plan on practicing here in Arizona in the future. The ultrasound instruction, clinical rotation sites, and clubs are notable perks as well.

What are you most excited about going forward?

I am genuinely most excited about participating in this notoriously rigorous program and taking in all of the expert knowledge from my professors.
