Received grant to assist in research designed to aid interested students in beginning their path towards a career in research or education. Presentations listed above under myopia progression with contact lenses were results of this grant.

11/2010                       Essilor Technology Grant

Received at American Academy of Optometry Meeting. San Francisco, CA

With Drs. Joseph Zinkovich, Balamurali Vasudevan, and Scott Schatz, obtained a $25,000 grant. The money of this grant will be used to educate the students on cost/benefit analysis of technology introduction to a private practice. The goal is to not only introduce the students to improved optical dispensing technology but to also educate them on the assessment and implementation of such devices
