About

Jenelle Mallios received her doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) where she also completed a pediatric residency. After residency, Dr. Mallios worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Instructor of Ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center (Boston, MA), in the Pediatric Ophthalmology department and as an adjunct clinical professor at NECO. She then moved to New York and worked at SUNY College of Optometry where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor and served as the Chief of the Pediatrics department. In 2018, Dr. Mallios joined Midwestern University's Chicago College of Optometry (CCO) and is currently the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs and an Associate Professor. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Mallios has taught courses within Pediatric Optometry and Pediatric Ocular Disease and has conducted research in various areas. She has published book chapters, delivered poster presentations, and presented continuing education lectures and invited talks at the local, national, and international level.
