Research

My research interests include anatomical education and using yoga and physcial movements to reinforce musculoskeletal anatomy. I want to better understand how students learn anatomy (other than strict memorization) and how as educators we can better connect lecture and lab material. I am also interested in the history of medical biases (specifically related to gender and race) and how we can prepare future healthcare professionals to be aware of their own implicit or unconscious biases.
