I completed my doctoral degree at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.. I completed my Internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and my Postdoc at the Univeristy of Rochester. I have been working at Midwestern University since 2007. I became the Director of Clinical Training in 2015.

I am interested in a number of topics. My prime reserach areas of focus are in children, adoelscents, couples, and families. I also conduct reserach in the areas of self-care, burn out, and mindfulness.
I am currently working on a manuscript with the Physical Therapy Department on PT's burnout rates. We implementeded mindfulness techniques into their daily routines and measrued the effects of these techniques on their rates of burnout.
I am also currently working on a project meauring stress levels in Graduate students during the Pandemic.
