Krista Sheldon, MSW, LCSW has worked in the mental health field for over 23 years. She graduated from ASU with her Masters in Social Work in 1997 and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in AZ. She has provided individual, family, group, and crisis counseling to a diverse population of people. She has counseled people concerning a variety of issues such as anxiety, ADD, depression, grief/loss, family and interpersonal relationships, stress management, and trauma, in both educational and community mental health settings, she also holds certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Melody McGee Thompson, MA, Ed.S, LPC, NCC, has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for more than 12 years. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor and is licensed to practice in Arizona and North Carolina. She has worked with individuals, couples, and groups of all ages in outpatient and inpatient settings, school settings, community settings, in-home settings, and for teletherapy. Her strength-based work has included assisting others with various mental health, life adjustment, addiction, and relationship issues. She holds additional advanced training in areas of trauma/PTSD of all ages, play therapy for children, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Restructuring).
Dr. Shannon Sesterhenn, Ed.D, has been in the field of higher education for over 20 years. Dr. Sesterhenn received her degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University and her Graduate Certificate in Postsecondary Disability Services from the University of Connecticut. Serving in the roles of Associate Dean of Students and Disability Services Coordinator, she coordinates the Student Peer Tutoring Program and oversees all accommodation requests with respect to students with disabilities.
Brooke Morrow, PA-C has been providing psychiatric care for the past 14 years. She is the Physician Assistant and Midwestern University Alumni. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Brooke is devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, study, and treatment of mental health disorders. She has broad training in the assessment and management of mental illness and brings extensive experience treating a wide variety of psychiatric disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and ADHD. Brooke has a unique ability to connect and communicate with her patients, creating an immediate sense of ease and confidence and encouraging a collaborative approach to assessment and treatment.
