Family and Friends

Given the solemn yet celebratory nature of commencement, all participants are expected to follow some basic rules of etiquette for such occasions.

Etiquette

Photographs

The university has arranged for professional photographs to be taken during the commencement ceremonies as each graduate receives their handshake with the University President by Grad Images (a division of Chappell Studios).

To assure that all graduates, their families, and friends may enjoy and view the ceremony, we ask that guests are considerate of one another when taking photographs.

Guests with Special Needs
The Auditorium has limited seating space for those in wheelchairs. Guests will be responsible to bring any special equipment (wheelchair, walker, etc.) they may need.
