Dr. Mohammed AloMohammed Alo, D.O., CCOM '06

Topic: Social Media, Technology, and Medicine

Dr. Alo is a 2006 graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at St. James Hospital, and he is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Alo is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at MWU/CCOM, and is an internal medicine hospitalist at the Sisters of St. Margaret Hospital system in Indiana. In addition, he is the co-founder of Social Media Consulting, LLC, a digital media marketing firm based in Chicago for web design, social media marketing, and promotion. He is also the author of The Alo Diet Book. Dr. Alo has been giving workshops on social media, marketing, public speaking, public relations, and media relations for more than 15 years to small businesses, political groups, national conferences, physician groups, and church groups.

Dr. Kaila Osmotherly

Wyoming native, Dr. Kaila Osmotherly, comes to Midwestern University after completing her postdoctoral residency in family practice at the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Oklahoma, where she specialized in ocular disease. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Human Biology from Chadron State College in Nebraska, and her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry near Portland, OR. While at Pacific University, she was honored as a recipient of the Outstanding All-Around Clinician Award. Dr. Osmotherly is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and a Fellow of the American Academic of Optometry (FAAO).


Dr. Sue CornellSue Cornell, Pharm.D., CDE, FAPhA, FAADE, CCP '02

Dr. Cornell is a clinical pharmacy consultant and certified diabetes educator, specializing in community and ambulatory care practice. She has over 20 years of practice in community pharmacy where she has practiced as a clinical pharmacist, diabetes educator and preceptor, as well as the coordinator of the ADA recognized Dominick's Pharmacy Diabetes Self-Management Education program through 2004. Dr. Cornell received her bachelor of pharmacy at the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy in 1986 and her Doctor of Pharmacy at Midwestern University in May of 2002. Dr. Cornell's current clinical practice is with the Access Community Health Network, where she trains, educates, and supervises students from the colleges of medicine, pharmacy, and health sciences, as they provide diabetes education classes for patients in underserved community clinics. Dr. Cornell is currently serving as President of the Illinois Pharmacists Association. She has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the 2010 Teacher of the Year Award, the 2010 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, Student Engaged Community Service Award, the 2008 American Association of Diabetes Educators Fellow Award, 2008 American Pharmacists Association Fellow award, the 2005 Midwestern University Golden Apple Teaching Award. She is an active member of the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators, where she served on their board of directors from 2004 to 2007. Dr. Cornell has given numerous presentations to various healthcare professionals and community groups and has published and contributed to many peer-reviewed, professional written and online publications.

Dr. Patrick Hogan

Patrick Hogan, D.O., AZCOM '03

Interventional Pain Physician, Arizona Pain Specialists

Dr. Hogan is a 2003 graduate of the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at AZCOM. Dr. Hogan also serves as the Vice President of the Arizona Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has published several articles and has an active research program. Dr. Hogan is a recipient of the Midwestern University Littlejohn Award and currently serves as the Chair of the MWU Alumni Senate.

Dr. Bracamonte received his degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is also affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. He specializes in pediatric and adolescent care and musculoskeletal dysfunction. 

Kristen Will

Ms. Will received her Master of Health Professions Education (M.H.P.E.) degree from Midwestern University in 2001, and her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from MWU in 1997. She graduated with her Bachelor in Biological Sciences from Western Michigan University in 1995. In addition to her clinical position, Ms. Will is the Program Director for the Mayo Clinic Arizona Postgraduate Physician Assistant Fellowship in Hospital Internal Medicine and an Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is Board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
