Off Campus Access
What is off campus authentication?
MWU Library Services uses the same login as your Midwestern email and online.midwestern.edu account login. This authentication is the method by which you are identified to various providers of our library resources as a MWU member when you are not on campus. MWU libraries licenses and pays for you to access library resources.
Who is eligible for off campus access?
The MWU community of both the Glendale, AZ and Downers Grove, IL campuses are able to login using their campus login and passwords. For a summary of MWU community members and their eligibility for library services see our policy page.
How do I get my off campus id and password?
For a reminder of your campus login and password, please contact ITS Online Help for more assistance. If you are a preceptor/clinical instructor and have not yet been assigned a campus login, please contact the department you are affiliated with for access information.

If I already have my campus login and password, how do I access the Databases/eResources?
The simplest way is to start with the Library Home page. Click on the resource you would like to use. A login will appear. Use your campus login to authenticate. Continue to use the resource. Please use this document for step-by-step instructions.
