This guide to reliable health information in Spanish was developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Healthfinder.gov links to carefully selected information and web sites from over 1,500 health-related organizations, including related information such as:


MedlinePlus: Español
MedlinePlus provides direction to information to help answer health questions. MedlinePlus brings together, by health topic, authoritative information from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), other government, non-profit and other health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to the medical research literature. It also provides a database of full-text drug information and an illustrated medical encyclopedia.

The NWHIC provides a gateway to the vast array of federal and other women’s health information resources. A service of the Office on Women’s Health in the Department of Health and Human Services, NWHIC provides information in Spanish and English.

A unique, responsible, authoritative and bilingual health information site, NOAH is dedicated to health consumers.

Latin Immersion - Medical Spanish
The program was developed for medical professionals combines the regular Spanish immersion program with medical-specific Spanish and cultural training for learning in Argentina or Chile. Includes information on:
