The Chicago College of Pharmacy celebrated students' excellence and achievements on Friday, April 7, 2017, at our annual Student Award Program. Our first student award program was 22 years ago. At that time we awarded 18 awards to 30 students. This year, we presented 38 unique awards and scholarships to a total of 50 students. These awards and scholarships are sponsored by various pharmacy companies, organizations, and many by friends and alumni of the College. The awards and scholarships recognize academic excellence, professionalism, community service, and leadership. Every year new awards and scholarships are added to our program, which is a testimony of the faith that the pharmacy profession and alumni have in the excellence of our students.

We also initiated 40 students into Rho Chi, the pharmacy national honor society, and 14 students (pictured) into Phi Lambda Sigma, which is the national pharmacy leadership society. Congratulations to all the students who were recognized and celebrated for their excellence.
