RESEARCH SUMMARY

My laboratory focuses on exploring drug effects on functions of cardiovascular system. Specifically, research is conducted to characterize modulating effects of new drugs on diseased vessel or heart, or, explore signaling pathway involved in cardiovascular disease to identify new drug target. Technically, my laboratory uses ex vivo model (isolated tissue/organ) and in vivo model (whole animal) for functional assays. In addition, in vitro model (mainly primary cell culture) is applied for identification of molecular target.
