Clues in the Cells: What We Can Learn from Veterinary Pathology
Tuesday, November 21, 2017 | 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Presented by Jason Struthers, D.V.M., M.VetSc, DACVP, Assistant Professor
Midwestern University Animal Health Institute and College of Veterinary Medicine

When you look at your pet, you know their wants, wishes, and which toy they havedeemed their favorite. When veterinary pathologists look at your furry loved one, theytake their examination to a microscopic level. They are able to glean fascinating, complex information - and diagnose diseases - from examining tiny samples of tissue or fluid.
Allow Dr. Struthers to explain how useful pathology can be to you and your pet, from the purpose and outcomes of surgical biopsies to discussion of postmortem exams. Soon, you'll be looking at your pet in a whole new light.
