AZ: Body Donation Program in the News

Midwestern University President and CEO Kathleen Goeppinger, Ph.D., talks with the Glendale Star about the importance of the University's Body Donation Program and how it provides a foundational experience of human anatomy to students in all of the University's health professional degree programs.

Heather Smith, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Anatomy and Director of the Midwestern University Body Donation Program, writes about how learning anatomy as a medical student through studying a donated human body changed the course of her life and her career  (see p. 13).

The Successful Aging show on KFNX visited with Heather Smith, Ph.D., to discuss the benefits of the Midwestern University Body Donation Program and the foundational education in human anatomy that it provides for the University's students. Dr. Smith's segment begins at 00:25:30.
