IL: College of Health Sciences Celebrates Graduations

Graduates from the College of Health Sciences celebrate after a commencement ceremony at Midwestern University.

Midwestern University recently held a commencement ceremony on the Downers Grove Campus to celebrate the start of a variety of healthcare careers for the graduates. The College of Health Sciences marked the end of summer with a graduation ceremony for 164 students in the Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Clinical Psychology programs.

During the ceremony, the graduates pledged to dedicate themselves to the highest standards of patient care and to continue learning throughout their professional careers. In addition, Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwestern University, congratulated the graduates on their many accomplishments. "I am very proud of the hard work and commitment you have demonstrated during the course of these challenging academic programs," she said. Dr. Goeppinger also noted the extensive community service, research projects, and academic honors achieved by the graduates during several years of intensive studies. 

The College of Health Sciences graduates join nearly 13,000 Midwestern University alumni who are working in leading hospitals, clinics, private practices, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare facilities across the United States.
