AZ/IL: Health Week Reminds Women to Take Care of Themselves

Healthy habits are important for everyone throughout the year. During the National Women's Health Week, the healthcare professionals at Midwestern University's Multispecialty Clinics want to remind women to make their health a priority.

National Women's Health Week runs from May 10 to 16, 2015 and was created by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In addition to reminding women to schedule annual checkups, the week was established to help women understand what steps they can take to improve their health. The Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinics offer many services to women to help them maintain or improve their health. The healthcare professionals at the clinics encourage women to:  

In addition, the new Physical Therapy Institute at the Downers Grove Multispecialty Clinic can help address healthcare needs exclusive to women including pelvic floor rehabilitation, bladder issues, pregnancy and post-partum conditions, and more.

During this week and throughout the year, the healthcare professionals at the Multispecialty Clinics can work with women of all ages to help them achieve longer, healthier, and safer lives.
