The Midwestern University Dental Institute, located at 19389 N. 59th Avenue in Glendale, has established new Pediatric Dentistry services and education with the appointment of Kimberly K. Patterson, D.D.S., M.S., to the Dental Institute faculty.
Dr. Patterson comes to Midwestern University after over a decade of practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Texas. She will oversee third- and fourth-year College of Dental Medicine-Arizona (CDMA) students as they provide preventive services (exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments), restorative services (fillings, crowns), and preventive and dietary guidance to children six years of age and older. Dr. Patterson will also instruct a Special Needs course at CDMA and serve as a guest lecturer for CDMA's Advanced Clinical Education Series.
Screening appointments are now available by contacting the Dental Institute at 623/537-6000.
The Midwestern University Dental Institute, opened in June 2010, pairs experienced dental professionals with CDMA students to provide patient care. With 242 chairs and specialty suites for cone beam imaging, wheelchair exams, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry, the Dental Institute is one of the most comprehensive dental facilities in the state. It is also one of the most affordable, with prices at about half the cost of standard dental care fees.
