AZ: Midwestern University Names Dr. Peppo as Chair, Internal Medicine for AZCOM

Midwestern University is pleased to announce the appointment of William Peppo, D.O., FACOI, FCCP, to the position of Chair, Internal Medicine, for the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) on its Glendale Campus.

Dr. Peppo also specializes in Pulmonology at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, located at 19389 N. 59th Avenue in Glendale. Dr. Peppo's expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of Valley fever, asthma, sleep apnea, persistent cough, shortness of breath, snoring, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other lung diseases.

Dr. Peppo, a native of Detroit, Michigan, received his D.O. degree from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1969. Prior to joining the Midwestern University Glendale Campus faculty in June 2011, he served as a preceptor for AZCOM. He is also a four-time honoree as Clinical Instructor of the Year at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Michigan. In 2009, he was named Physician of the Month at the Banner Gateway Medical Center.
