Speech-Language Pathology students also participated in the 2014 Walk for Children with Apraxia.

The Midwestern University Speech-Language Pathology Program and the Midwestern University Chapter of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a proud sponsor of the 7th Annual Walk for Children with Apraxia on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Ty Warner Park in Westmont. Apraxia is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to communicate with others.

Proceeds from the walk will benefit Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association in its efforts to provide support to children and families on their journey with apraxia.
